A random visit to the coast

Tonight my parents made me dinner and we all watched Moana. It was really nice to have some time together.

I’m laying in bed thinking about how I’m going to put in my two weeks notice tomorrow with the first City I ever worked for, after a hellish month of my coworker finding out her husband has leukemia. I’m thinking about the weekend, which I met up with the girls in Long Beach after my pre-employment medical exam and it was so fun eating and drinking at Parker’s Lighthouse and Tortilla Joes. On Saturday I got my nails done with my other girls and said farewell to their Anaheim apartment that I knew as a home away from home. It got a little emotional before we headed to Benihana’s. This morning I had bomb morning sex and went to the mall for a few hours. I came home to do laundry and have lunch with my parents and went swimming afterwards. I’m planning a trip to visit my college best friend after not seeing each other in over four years, and I’m the most excited I’ve been in a while. It’s definitely going to be an interesting trip, and my first time in Portland. I hope it will be the first of many. Need to shop for housewarming/thank you gift prior to this spontaneous travel.
